Monthly Archives: October 2009

I’m scheduled to start in about 36 hours and I still don’t have my list finished. I’ve already got a few goals in motion, and I’m looking forward to getting a few more rolling after I officially start. I need to get my finished list into a document or my checklist app so I’ll have it with me wherever I go.

I’ve also decided that the books read for the Classics goal WILL count towards my yearly 50book/50movie goal.

I’ve been working on my list for a few days now, and I’m more than half way there. I’m trying to list things that will benefit my family as well as myself (and others).

I find the “visual” editor way too complicated, so I’m switching back to straight HTML for posting. It’s what I’m used to, so that’s what I’m sticking with.

I want to find a countdown ticker that displays days instead of condensing to y/m/d format. Of course, since it’s on WP it needs to be non-javascript.

So I’m gearing up to get started on my birthday, Nov. 1st. That would have me ending the end of July in 2012 (I think?).

So far I’ve got about 20 things on my list and I’m trying to figure out more and get the list organized into sections. I have some basic gists of some goals, I just need to refine them to make them more measurable and specific (IE: “get to know my brothers better” needing to be something I can substantiate).

I’m also trying to get this site set up and playing with the html.

I’m just getting this started. 🙂
